Although located in South Yorkshire, the BSS team operates across the UK.
Is there a preference as to whether BSS provide service on site with customers or virtually?
Our team can work proficiency both onsite and virtually. We can provide advice during initial discussions on the best approach for you.
How quickly can BSS respond to a request?
BSS have been involved with clients during cyber attacks and have assisted organisations with decisions surrounding initial response and providing business support. Our experienced team have experience pre and post cyber attack.
What are the BSS standard payment terms BSS?
After the initial starter meeting, BSS will invoice as per terms and conditions of service on 30 days terms.
Does BSS offer discounts on the services they provide?
We understand that every organisation is different. Being an SME, we can offer terms and do favour a reduction of 10% quite simply for paying with 5 days of invoice, instead of 30 days.
What types of service do BSS provide?
BSS provide bespoke one-off services when needed, and ongoing services by monthly retainer service. We have found this meets most business needs.
What are the benefits of virtual services vs employed resource?
Cyber security professionals require expensive certification and additional time for training but are only needed to support a number of activities. Much larger organisations can consume considerable time and require full-time staff, but smaller companies find this expensive. At BSS we provide a service based upon what your company needs at a fraction of the cost.
Is there a minimum subscription period for retainer-based services provided by BSS?
BSS offers a 3-month break clause in the retainer based service, demonstrating our confidence in what we do, and how we do it. We know you will want to continue.
Are there any benefits for recommending your service?
Where a customer recommendation is received and the outcome is a service being purchased from BSS, we will offer credits which can be used towards ongoing service payments.
Why do you not include costs on your website?
Our pre-sales process at BSS allows us to have a pro-active approach. Not every organisation is the same and their needs vary. We aim to provide a quotation within 48 hours of your call with our consultant.
BSS is an SME, is this a risk when providing services to our organisation?
At BSS, we understand than using the correct tools, having the right people at the right time is important. Using our own Virtual approach, we maintain the standards required to support our customers and validate the approach is a good one.

Compliance is associated with every sector of business, but can be more important in sectors such as Finance, Government, Local Authorities, NHS, Social Care, Charities etc. BSS has found work on compliance can help to drive sales, support the growth of a company and reduce risk.

This would be very difficult to achieve. The complexity of supply chains across organisations will generally involve multiple countries. Our consultants have experience of dealing with these standard needs and common issues associated with complex supply requirements.

BSS provide 3 common types of service. These include: 1. Our bespoke service, which is a single call of consultancy when needed. 2. Our virtual service, where a monthly payment provides ongoing support to companies and 3. Our Annual Virtual service where an annual commitment helps with revenue planning, and allows BSS to be more cost effective which in turn provides a discounted rate.
Are BSS consultants security cleared?
At BSS we understand that in some instances, organisations which are in a supply chain or under contracts for some services, security clearance can be vital. We can provide consultants who have or can meet security clearance requiements. This means we can respond more quickly to a requirement when needed.
Why does BSS not include references on your website?
Due to the type of work we have undertaken with clients, confidentiality is vital. We feel it better to provide a reference when required.
Why Is modernisation so important to an organisation?

Can BSS provide assistance with Cyber Security Training?
